WSCC Summer
Stages Rally 2026
This is a timed event where cars will compete over 5 (possibly more) stages. Stages will be a set distance and the time taken to complete the distance will be measured. When all stages have been completed the finishing order will be based on time taken, with the lowest time being the winner.
There are 4 classes and you can enter 2 cars (3 depending on numbers on the day), but they must be in different classes.
Cars will be split in to the following classes:
Class A: up to 1979
Class B: 1980 – 1999
Class C: 2000 – Date
Class D: SCX standard rally cars
Cars must be based on real world cars that have competed a National or International Stage rally in these years. Please note that DTM, Group 5, GT spec and Can-Am cars will not be allowed.
As an example: A BMW 3 series would be eligible, however the car did not rally in DTM or GT specifications, therefore DTM of GT3/4 spec models would not be allowed.
If in doubt please ask.
Registration
In order to remove the potential for people turning up on the night with the wrong car and not being allowed to run it, there will be a preregistration/scrutineering of cars in the weeks building up to the event. Bring the car you want to run along to a club night and it will be inspected and registered in a class. Then bring that car to the event and off we go!
How the event will run:
If you enter 2 cars (A and B) you will run car A across all stages first, making a note of each stage time as you go on your timing sheet. When all stages are done for car A, you swap and do all stages with car B (then car C if more have been entered). Timing sheets will then be returned to race control who will then add them to the spreadsheet to create the leaderboard and finishing positions.
Stage 5 (the rally track) will be run in the dark/low light so it would be preferred that cars have headlights, although this is up to the entrant if they want to fit them or not.
The top 3 overall plus the top 3 in each class will be announced, any awards to be given our will be decided on nearer the time.
NO MAGNETS ARE ALLOWED IN ANY CAR CLASS. BALLAST CAN BE ADDED TO THE INSIDE OF THE CAR.
Build Rules.
As it is the first event of this type we have done, rules will be fairly basic and wide open, but please follow below. Cars will not be counted if they fail to meet the rules.
Body Shell
Any 1/32 scale body shell of a car that has completed a National or International stage rally. Body must display a race number. Paint schemes can be changed to whatever you like.
Interior
The car must have an interior that covers the whole of the inside of the body shell. Construction is free and can be standard or lightweight. Interior must have a driver and a co-driver in place. Glazing can be made of a lightweight material also.
Chassis
Free Choice – standard, 3D printed, Penelopy Pitlane are allowed. Pods are allowed
Guide
Guide is free choice but must be no deeper than 7mm, and must not be visible from the front of the car when looking straight down from the top of the car.

Axle Choice is free, wobbly front axles can be secured using any method you like. Axles cannot poke outside the width of the body shell.
Motor
Any motor type in any orientation is allowed, max rpm of 22k
Gearing
Gearing is free choice but must not touch the track surface. Cars that came with 4wd from the factory MUST retain the 4wd system be that gear driven or belt driven. 2wd cars cannot be converted to 4wd.
Wheels and Tyres
Wheels and tyres are free, but they must not protrude outside the width of the body shell excessively, and must fit inside the wheel arch without modification to the body shell.
Miscellaneous
Braid, body screws, motor wires, bearings, pod screws etc are free choice.
One stage will be run in low light/dark conditions so cars would be better having forward facing lights, this is up to the entrant though.
SCX cars (Class D)
Whole car must remain standard with the exception of rear tyres, which can be swapped for a different type, but must fit original wheels.
